Travel RN – LTAC MedSurg (Night Shift – 48 hrs/week)
Facility: Prisma Health Baptist LTACH Hospital
Location: Columbia, SC 29201
Start Date: 03/09/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 4x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours: 48 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Some weekends required
Floating: Required within Prisma system (to qualified units/campuses)
Requirements
- Experience: 1+ year recent RN experience (LTAC preferred)
- License: Active SC RN License (required at submission)
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Required)
- NIHSS (Preferred)
- EMR: Minimum 1 year EPIC experience required
- SSN: Required at submission
- Flu Vaccine: Required – No exemptions
- COVID Vaccine: Not required
Clinical Skills Needed
- LTAC Med-Surg setting
- IV therapy & peripheral line management
- Blood product administration (preferred)
- Tube feedings (gravity, syringe, pump)
- Tracheostomy care/management
- CVA patient care
- Complex wound care
- Infection prevention & isolation precautions
Unit Overview
- Adult & Geriatric population
- Average daily census: 15
- Strong interdisciplinary support (RT, PT, Pharmacy, Social Services, etc.)
Additional Notes
- Orientation held every Monday
- Pre-assignment testing + modules must be completed within 48 hours of login
- Floating required per census needs
- Travelers must convert to employee status after 3rd contract or take 6-month break
