Description
Certified Surgical Technologist – OR (Weekends/On-Call)
Location: Bozeman, MT
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 4x10 Hour Shifts
Call: Required
Job Description
The Surgical Technologist will function as the scrub person in the Operating Room, working under the supervision of the surgeon and RN to ensure a safe surgical environment, proper equipment function, and optimal patient safety during procedures.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program (or equivalent military program)
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Required
• BLS (AHA) – Required
Responsibilities
• Prepare and complete case carts using surgeon preference cards
• Coordinate instrumentation and supplies with OR and Sterile Processing teams
• Review daily OR schedule to identify turnover or scheduling issues
• Support communication between OR, SPD, and Materials Management
• Assist with supply and instrumentation procurement for scheduled and emergent cases
• Support core phone and departmental workflow coordination
