Job Details

Specialty: Medical Physicist

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Details: M-F, 8 hours per day. Be flexible on work hours, may need to stay late sometimes.

Schedule: M-F, 8 hours per day.

Work Details:

Full service radiation oncology department

Patients per day: 65
Patient Population/Age: 65

Department Description: Full service radiation oncology department, two Varian linac.

EMR: Varian Aria and Eclipse
Hospital Bed size: n/a (95% outpatient)
Special Procedures: n/a
Skills Required: Highly proficient with Varian TruBeam linacs and the ARIA system, perform all types of chart checks. Daily QA and monthly QA on the machine.

Practice Setting:

Hospital based Rad Onc clinic.

Travel Logistics:

Specific travel client will pay for: Travel and lodging

Requirements:

Board Certification: ABR board certified in therapeutic medical physics
License Required: n/a (Oregon does not require a license for physicist)
