Description

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Irvine CA

Job Description

This role focuses on Nuclear Medicine only. This is a fast paced outpatient and inpatient environment using a single camera system. Candidates must be able to start quickly with minimal orientation.

This location handles high volume work including clinical trials and a broad range of Nuclear Medicine procedures. Candidates with academic medical center experience tend to be the most successful.

Responsibilities
Perform Nuclear Medicine imaging
Prepare and position patients
Maintain accurate documentation
Follow ALARA and radiation safety standards
Work efficiently in high volume settings
Collaborate effectively with team members

Schedule
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
No on call expected

Requirements
Active California CNMT license
Active NMTCB or ARRT N
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
Minimum one year full time CNMT experience

Multiple locations are available across Orange County. Other active openings include Costa Mesa (PET only), Orange (Nuclear Medicine and PET), and Los Alamitos (Nuclear Medicine).
