Position: Pharmacist
Facility: Adventist - Ukiah Valley
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start date: 03/16/2026
Location: 275 Hospital Dr Ukiah, CA 95482
PR: $50/hr on W2 + $1500/week Stipend
Weekly Gross Pay: $3500/Week
Shift Notes: 8hr Days, 5 shifts/week (40 hours/week)
Weekend requirement: As needed
Call: Not specified

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist for a retail pharmacy setting. The pharmacist will be responsible for verifying and filling medication orders, monitoring patient medication therapies, and ensuring medication safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
Verify and fill prescriptions accurately in a retail pharmacy setting
Monitor patient medication therapies and ensure safe and effective drug use
Provide drug information and counseling to patients and healthcare providers
Identify and troubleshoot potential medication safety hazards
Document all interactions and interventions for medical review
Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel
Ensure compliance with state and facility regulations and standards

Requirements:

Location: Howard, Day shift, Retail Pharmacy - Retail experience needed. BLS required

Education and Work Experience:

Graduate of school of pharmacy: Required
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree: Preferred
One year's technical experience: Preferred
Inpatient clinical pharmacy experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

Pharmacist license in the state of practice: Required
All licensures and certifications needed to fulfill the duties required of a Pharmacist at the state level: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Heart Code ACLS (HACLS) or Health stream Advanced Cardiac Life Support (HS-ACLS): Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Heart Code BLS (HBLS) or Health stream Basic Life Support (HS-BLS): Required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Heart Code PALS (HPALS) or Health stream Pediatric Advanced Life Support (HS-PALS): Required
