Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Work Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other week (EOW)
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; will consider Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with acute care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Current Respiratory Therapist license for Massachusetts
- Must have completed specialty exam within the last year
- Fit test required
- Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work, dated within the last year
- Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
- Immunizations and health requirements:
- COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption/declination
- MMR vaccination or immunity proof
- Hepatitis B vaccination series (titers not accepted)
- Influenza vaccine or approved exemption/declination
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof
- Tdap vaccine (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)
