Assignment Details

• Duration: 8 Weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Nights
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
  • Night shift weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Start Dates: Weekly (Mondays)

Position Overview

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse for an 8-week assignment. This role requires strong critical care skills, including the ability to independently titrate vasoactive drips (pressors). Candidates must be adaptable and comfortable floating to multiple units as needed.

Clinical Requirements

• Epic experience – Required
• Must be able to titrate pressors (vasoactive drips) – Include in candidate write-up
• Day one pass/fail testing required
  • Relias practice tests available prior to start
• Patient ratios: 1:3–1:5
• Expected to float to:
  • ED Holds
  • Inpatient Holds
  • PACU
  • Other boarding units
• Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks (may float more than once per shift, though rare)

Experience Requirements

• Level I Trauma experience – Preferred
• If no prior travel experience, Level I Trauma experience is required

Licensure & Certifications

• BLS – AHA (Required)
• ACLS – AHA (Preferred)
• NIHSS (Preferred)
