Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-acuity ICU caring for adult and geriatric patients. This role requires strong critical care skills, ventilator management, cardiac monitoring, and experience with complex drips and lines.

Shift & Scheduling Details

• Schedule: 3x12 Night Shifts
• Weekend Rotation: 2 weekends off out of every 4
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Average Daily Census: 4 patients
• Float Required: Yes
• Call Required: Yes (for low census)
• Orientation: 12 hours
• RTO Limit: Max 7 days

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year ICU experience
• Active RN License (CA preferred; pending accepted)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• EPIC experience required
• Strong experience with critical care drips, ventilators, and invasive lines
• First-time travelers accepted

• Ventilator & respiratory failure management
• ABG interpretation, HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP
• Arterial lines, central lines, PICCs, ports
• Titrating vasoactive & cardiac drips
• Blood product administration
• IV insulin protocols
• Neurological & stroke care
• Infection prevention & isolation precautions
• Emergency cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Chest tube care & suctioning
