Description

Job Title: RN - Intensive Care Unit

Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) provide advanced, life-sustaining care to critically ill patients requiring constant monitoring and intervention in high-acuity settings. They excel in rapid assessment, ventilator management, and hemodynamic stability for conditions like sepsis, trauma, or post-surgical recovery

Responsibilities:

Assess, monitor, and document patients’ vital signs and overall condition
Provide care to critically ill or unstable patients
Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and continuous drips
Manage ventilators and other life-support equipment
Perform advanced nursing procedures (e.g., central line care, arterial lines, suctioning)
Respond to medical emergencies and participate in code blue situations
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Develop and update individualized care plans
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards

Shift Details:

13 Weeks
Days - 3x12's - (7am to 7pm)
36 hours weekly

Requirements:

At least 2 years of previous experience.
First time traveler accepted
PALS, ACLS and BLS (AHA)
TNCC
CPI

EMR - EPIC Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
