Position Overview: 

• Manage and lead a self-contained behavior support classroom for students in Grades K-2.
• Develop, implement, and monitor highly individualized, data-driven IEPs focusing on both academic progress and behavioral skills.
• Implement and supervise structured Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and behavioral management plans within the classroom.
• Collaborate closely with district specialists and parents to ensure consistent student support across environments.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or related field (Required)
• Valid South Carolina Certification in Special Education specializing in: Multi-Categorical, Emotional Disabilities, Moderate Disabilities, Elementary / Middle Disabilities, or Trainable Mentally Disabled (Required)
• Experience managing a self-contained classroom for students with significant emotional and behavioral needs (Preferred)
