Position Overview: 

• Teach in a self-contained, cross-categorical classroom, instructing students with diverse disabilities across different grade levels (K-2, 2-5, and 1-3).
• Develop and implement individualized and group lesson plans, manage and communicate student progress, and maintain a safe and orderly classroom.
• Collaborate with other staff, supervise a teacher's aide, and communicate regularly with parents to ensure students' success.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (Required)
• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification with a Special Education endorsement (Required)
• Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to occasionally transport students and attend required meetings and training
