Description

Travel RN – MS/Tele (PCU/Stepdown)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year RN experience
First-time travelers accepted
Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (no local candidates)
Experience in MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown units

Required Clinical Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of cardiac drips (including titration)
IV insulin protocols & titration of insulin drips
Heparin protocols
Post-MI care
CVA and seizure disorder management
Blood product administration
Central line, PICC line & port access management
Peripheral IV insertion & phlebotomy
Feeding tube care & Continuous Bladder Irrigation
Renal failure management
Chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac)
PCA pumps & thrombolytic agents
External CPAP/BIPAP, HFNC
ABG interpretation
Tracheostomy care & non-invasive airway management
Oxygen therapy (nasal cannula, face masks)
Ortho trauma, traction, total joint replacements
Peripheral nerve block catheters
Substance withdrawal management
Wound care & wound vac
Isolation precautions
