Facility Overview

• 143-bed acute care facility
• Unit includes: 10 ICU beds, 24 ER beds, 24 medical/surgical beds, 18 surgical beds
• Patient population: All (including pediatrics and neonates)
• Equipment used: PB 840/980 ventilators, V60 Bilevel, Vapotherm
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech

• Weekend hours: Every other weekend rotation (Friday-Sunday considered full weekend)

Required Qualifications

• Licensure: Respiratory Therapist (RT) License/Certification required for North Carolina
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (must have prior to start)
• Experience: Minimum 1+ years in Respiratory Therapy specialty (highest required)
• Must have skills/experience with ventilators, pediatrics, and neonates

Common Diagnoses/Treatments

• COPD
• CHF
• Pneumonia

• Orientation schedule available throughout the year
• Dress code: Scrubs in black, grey, or navy
