Description
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience
- First-time travelers accepted
Patient Population:
- Pediatrics to Geriatrics
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP (Preferred)
- RRT
- Georgia State License
Clinical Skills & Work Setting Requirements:
- Ventilator management
- Medicated aerosol treatments
- BiPAP management
- Open heart experience
- Intubation
- ABG draws and analysis
- CPT
- Nitric therapy
- COVID management
Unit Coverage & Ratios:
- 24/7 department
- 11–13 therapists on day shift
- 9–10 therapists on night shift
- Coverage for all hospital floors including:
- 30-bed ICU
- 25-bed Open Heart unit
- 25-bed NICU
- 45-bed ED
Systems/Equipment Experience Required:
- Epic
- Puritan Bennett
- Servo I
- GE Care Fusion
Scheduling & Assignment Requirements:
- Scrub color: Any color except all red or all navy blue
- RTO: Maximum 7 days
- Weekends: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified
- Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Call: None
- Holidays:
- Work 1 of 1 major holiday
- Work both if 2 fall during assignment
- Work 2 of 3 if 3 fall during assignment
Major Holidays:
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving/Black Friday
- Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
- New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day
