Shift & Schedule

Day Shift – 4x10s (07:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Monday–Friday | Wednesday OFF

 No Weekends
 No On-Call
 

Block Scheduling: Available (Manager approval)

Unit Overview

This high-volume infusion center treats approximately 85 patients/day across 50 infusion rooms.

• 70% Oncology-based therapy
• 30% Blood transfusions, IVIG, hydration, and iron infusions
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Interdisciplinary support: Pharmacy, Social Services, Unit Secretary

Required Qualifications (HARD STOP)

 ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification
BLS Certification
1+ year RN experience (2+ years strongly preferred)
Epic experience required
Chemo infusion experience REQUIRED

 Pending license NOT accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and biotherapy
• Monitor for chemo side effects and abnormal lab values
• Manage continuous chemo infusions and IV push chemo
• Perform safe cytotoxic drug handling and spill management
• Follow neutropenic and isolation precautions
• Access and manage ports and IV therapy
• Provide blood transfusions, IVIG, hydration, and iron infusions
• Deliver compassionate oncology-focused patient care
