• Full-time, 16–32-week travel assignment
• 12-hour shifts, days

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care within the Women’s and Children’s Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit, including postpartum and newborn care.
• Assist with neonatal resuscitations, APGAR scoring, and administering medications to newborns post-delivery.
• Support patients and their families through labor and delivery processes, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams utilizing Epic and Philips Intellispace systems.
• Assist with unit procedures such as IV starts, lab draws, and postpartum care, following established protocols.
• Float to assist in other units within the organization as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license with minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience, including LDRP.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS and PALS (or PEARS) preferred.
• Recent Epic EMR experience (within past 2 years) is mandatory.
• Experience with neonatal resuscitation, APGAR scoring, and newborn medication administration.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends, holidays, and on-call as scheduled.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred.
• Experience in a community hospital setting without on-site NICU.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced L&D environment.
