Position Overview

A respected medical center in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support daytime imaging services. This role is ideal for a tech with strong clinical competency, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced urban environment. The facility values technologists who can deliver high‑quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience
Active CNMT via NMTCB
Current BLS
Active New York State Nuclear Medicine License
Strong communication, patient‑care, and workflow‑management skills

Responsibilities

Perform high‑quality nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT and SPECT/CT
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
Ensure proper imaging acquisition, documentation, and patient monitoring
Maintain compliance with radiation‑safety standards and facility protocols
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary clinical teams
Support a busy day‑shift workflow with consistent 5×8 scheduling
