This position is looking for someone FULL TIME STAFF DON 

Position Overview
Responsible for the direction of resident care in the Long-Term Care setting.  Manages licensed clinical personnel.  Consult with staff, physicians, and management team on nursing problems and interpretation of facility policies to ensure resident needs are met. Develop performance improvement activities for LTC. Assists in formulating budget. Assures an atmosphere of teamwork. Places priority on residents and families.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans, implements and controls the annual budget for LTC.
• Responsible for LTC decision-making and policy formulation.
• Assures staff the ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Assures appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the resident and family regarding pain management. Document how completed.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
