Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technologist – Cath Lab for a 13-week travel assignment in Dallas, TX. The technologist will perform specialized cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology procedures while collaborating with physicians and the intra-procedure team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. This role requires strong technical expertise, equipment proficiency, and the ability to participate in rotating call coverage.
Shift/Schedule details:
- 10-hour day shifts.
- Work week Wednesday through Tuesday.
- Weekend schedule determined by facility.
- Rotating after-hours call required including Sunday rotation.
- Maximum 30-minute commute time for call response.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases required.
- Experience assisting with cardiac catheterization, peripheral vascular, and/or electrophysiology studies required.
- Experience maintaining and calibrating special procedures equipment required.
- Experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED, etc.) or previous Cath/EP Lab setting preferred.
- Previous travel experience highly preferred.
- Required Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program required.
Required Certifications:
- ARRT or RCIS certification required.
- BLS (American Heart Association) required.
- ACLS (American Heart Association) required.
Required Licenses:
- Active State of Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist License required at time of submission.
