Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

📍 Location: W. W. Hastings Hospital – Tahlequah, Oklahoma
🏥 Region: Cherokee Nation
📅 Contract Dates: March 2, 2026 – May 30, 2026
🕒 Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
📆 Schedule: 3 days per week

Position Summary

W.W. Hastings Hospital is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift contract assignment. The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients ranging from neonates to adults with acute and chronic medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy services to neonates, pediatric, and adult patients
Assess, treat, and monitor patients with acute respiratory conditions
Administer oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and airway support
Respond to emergency situations and codes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
Accurately document patient care using Cerner charting system
Follow hospital protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications

NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) Certification – Required
Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist License – Required
BLS, ACLS, PALS – AHA certifications only
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
Minimum 6 months of Respiratory Therapy experience
Pediatric experience required
Experience caring for neonates through adult populations

Additional Information

Must be comfortable working night shifts
Scrub Color: Burgundy or White
Experience with acutely ill patients across diverse medical conditions preferred
