Call Required: Yes, typically 6 evenings and one weekend per 6 weeksWeekend Shifts Per Contract: typically one weekend per 6 week on stand by. must respond within 30 minutes of call back. - Medication System: Pyxis- Documentation system: EPIC, McKesson- Communication: SBARUNIT DETAILS- procedures room. 3 cath labs, one hybrid ORSKILLSWork Settings- Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab (REQUIRED)- Special Procedures (PREFERREDCardiac Cath Lab Procedures- REQUIRED: Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Impella insertion, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right heart catheterization, Rotablader athrectomy, Temporary Pacemaker, Ventricular Assist Device Insertion- PREFERRED: Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion, Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR), Watchman Equipment and Devices (REQUIRED)- Fluoroscopy, SiemensProcedural Responsibilities (REQUIRED)- Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)Professional Knowledge and Skills- REQUIRED: Isolation Precautions- PREFERRED: Use of Rapid Response team
