Role Summary

A gastroenterology practice is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered GI care. The APP will work collaboratively with gastroenterologists in both outpatient and hospital settings, providing comprehensive evaluations, managing GI conditions, and supporting procedural care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage various GI conditions.
• Conduct consultations in clinic and hospital settings.
• Coordinate pre‑ and post‑procedure care for endoscopic services.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient education.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure high‑quality documentation.
• Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required:

• Active NP or PA license (state‑specific)
• DEA certification
• 2–3 years of gastroenterology experience
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient‑focused care

Preferred:

• Experience with IBD, liver disease, or motility disorders
• Hospital privileges (or willingness to obtain)
• Bilingual (Spanish a plus)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $140–$180k based on GI experience and credentials (must be included)
• 2 weeks vacation
• CME: $1,500 + 3 days
