OB/L&D RN – Night Shift Certifications & Education BSN required ACLS required NRP required RN-C preferred Experience / Skills High-risk OB experience required Comfortable with fast-paced environment Nurses perform own exams & full assessments Cannot place IUPC Must demonstrate strong customer service orientation Ratios & Staffing AWONN ratios IV Team available RT coverage: none Pharmacy: 24/7 EMR: Meditech + GE (two systems) Scheduling Night Shifts: Floating may include OB or nursery, but no primary patient assignments Weekend Requirement: Days: Every 3rd weekend Nights: 3 weekend shifts in 4-week period (Friday/Saturday) Holidays: Travelers do not work holidays Scrubs: Provided by hospital Floor-specific Orientation: 2–3 shifts
