Shift: 12-hour Nights (7p–7:30a)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekends: Every other weekend (Nights: Fri/Sat/Sun rotation)

Requirements

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required
• Active license required to submit
• Must include unexpired driver’s license with submission
• Cardiac stepdown experience required
• Must be able to titrate drips: Cardizem, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Heparin (Insulin set-rate only)
• Ability to read & interpret telemetry strips
• Experience with BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow

Unit Details

• Ratios: 1:4–5
• Heavy cardiac population (dysrhythmias, CVAs, ICU downgrades)
• EMR: Currently Cerner → transitioning to EPIC
• Monitor tech on unit; RNs are responsible for strip interpretation
