• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope of practice in Telemetry and the Emergency Department.
• Monitor patient condition and respond quickly and accurately to changes or treatment responses.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status, diagnostic results, and symptom changes.
• Direct and support patient and family education.
• Guide and supervise activities of nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA regulations and mandatory reporting of child and adult abuse.
• Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality, and professional ethics at all times.

Education, Experience & Training Requirements

• Current and valid State RN License.
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS and/or ENPC certification
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation
• Minimum 1 year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital setting (Emergency Department experience preferred).
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
