General Information
Tell us about the unit(s):
- Number of Beds - 34
- Number of Staff – 50
- Type of staff: **Depends on patient census**
- Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) 1 Charge RN and 2 PCTS every day (3 PCTs if at 23 patients). RN numbers vary depending on census but will always be at a 1:3-4 ratio
- Night Shift – same as above
- Patient Ratios – 1:3-4
- Type of equipment – bladder scanner on each floor, Mobilabs for lab draws, EKG machine, AccuVein, Virtual Sitter Cameras, W.O.Ws, Hoyer Lift, Sara Stedy Lift, Sit to Stand Lift
- EMR - Meditech
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Med/Surg/Telemetry Experience
- Experience caring for patients with Heparin gtts and PCA’s
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Stepdown/PCU Experience
- Experience with Solid Organ Transplant (kidney, liver or pancreas)

- Wound/drain care (wound vac, chest tube, JP)
