Position Type: 13 Weeks (36 Hours Guaranteed)
Shift: 8-Hour Variable Day Shift with Evening, Weekend & Holiday On-Call Rotation
Weekly Pay Package:

W2 Wage (RT+OT based on expected hrs): $1,960.00

Nontaxable Weekly PerDiem: $1,246.00

Total Weekly Gross Pay Package: $3,206.00

Job Description:
• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ADN required, BSN preferred
• License: Active Illinois RN license required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; Endoscopy/GI experience preferred
• Provides comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administers medications and treatments per physician orders, nursing standards, and state practice acts
• Performs patient assessments, care planning, interventions, evaluations, and documentation in EPIC
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care, including patient and family education
• Participates in performance improvement activities, shared governance, and peer review processes
• Utilizes critical thinking to promote patient safety and escalates concerns appropriately
• Supports mentoring, precepting, and professional development initiatives
• Participates in departmental/unit-based improvement and evidence-based practice activities
