Description
Facility Name: Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center
Title: ED Assistant Department Manager / RN
Location: Corvallis, OR
Position Type: 13 Weeks (40 Hours Guaranteed)
Shift: Varied Shifts, Occasional Weekends
Weekly Pay Package:
W2 Wage (RT+OT based on expected hrs): $1,960.00
Nontaxable Weekly PerDiem: $1,246.00
Total Weekly Gross Pay Package: $3,206.00
Job Description:
• License: Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
• Education: BSN preferred; High school diploma or equivalent verification required (CAP requirement)
• Certifications: BLS (Healthcare Provider), ACLS, PALS, and TNCC/ATCN required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required; leadership/management training preferred
• Provides and assures quality care for patients across the lifespan (neonatal through geriatrics)
• Supports the Nurse Manager in departmental operations, staff oversight, and workflow management
• Delivers care to patients with emergent, urgent, and non-critical medical and mental health conditions
• Certified and competent in caring for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including pediatrics
• Participates in leadership activities, staff support, and performance improvement initiatives
• Utilizes EPIC EMR for documentation
