Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions that improve patient mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility assistance
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

• Active state Physical Therapy Assistant license (must be current)
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
• Less than 1 year of experience accepted
• Strong communication and patient care skills
