Description
Facility Name: Manchester Memorial Hospital
Title: Registered Nurse – Acute Inpatient Behavioral Health (Psych)
Location: Manchester, CT
Position Type: 12 Weeks (40 Hours Guaranteed)
Shift: Night Shift – 5x8s (11:00 PM – 07:30 AM)
Start Date: 03/16/2026
Job Description:
• License: Active Connecticut RN license required
• Certifications: BLS required (must be current prior to start)
• Experience: Minimum 3 years recent Acute Inpatient Behavioral Health / Psych RN experience required
• Provides direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient dual-diagnosis behavioral health unit
• Performs comprehensive psychiatric assessments, care planning, and evaluations
• Administers medications and monitors therapeutic and adverse effects
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic milieu and follows behavioral health safety protocols
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient recovery
• Accurately documents care per hospital policy and standards
