Travel Occupational Therapist- North Dakota

American Consultants is looking for a travel OT for a facility in North Dakota. This is an outpatient position. Would love to have experience in pediatrics.

Pay Package

Taxable: $50/hour ($2000/week)

Tax Free: $1246/week

Total: $3246/week

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
• Implement strategies to enhance fine motor skills, coordination, cognition, and sensory processing
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home exercise programs
• Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility and state guidelines
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control and regulatory standards
• Adapt quickly to different clinical settings and EMR systems

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTD or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy)
• Current, active Occupational Therapist license in the state of assignment (or ability to obtain)
• NBCOT certification
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience (varies by facility)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
