Description

Job Summary: OB RN – Wausau, WI
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Primary Location: Wausau Hospital
Shift Requirements: 12-hour shifts (Day/Night variables)
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation
Float Requirements: None
On Call / Call Back Requirements:
- Can be low censused and put on call
- Call back minimum is 2 hours
Required Certifications:
- AHA BLS (Mandatory)
- Advanced NRP (Mandatory)
- WI RN License
Minimum Experience: 2 years in OB with L&D experience
Charting Experience:
- Primary EMR: EPIC
- Experience preferred
Required Skillset: Labor and Delivery competent
Unit Information:
- 11-bed L&D
- 8-bed Postpartum
- 1,350 deliveries annually
Average Daily Census:
- Highly variable
- Average monthly delivery rate: 112/month
Scrub Colors: Any color
Low Census Policy:
- Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
- Travelers can be put on call during the 36 hours of unbillable low census
- If called back in, they will receive call back pay
