Job Summary

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) provides advanced respiratory care services to both adult and pediatric critical care patients in a high-acuity, Magnet-designated Level I Trauma Center. The RRT will support respiratory and neuro diagnostic services including airway management, ventilator support, and sleep-related monitoring.

• Short-Term Acute Care Hospital
• Magnet / Teaching / Level I Trauma Center
• 632 Staffed Beds
• Charting System: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub Color: Burgundy / Wine
• Parking: Free with badge

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform airway management and advanced ventilator support
• Administer respiratory medications and therapies
• Manage mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy
• Perform suctioning and pulmonary toileting
• Deliver BiPAP, CPAP, and nebulizer treatments
• Participate in respiratory and neuro diagnostic monitoring
• Support ER and Adult ICU respiratory care needs
• Monitor oxygen saturation and sleep study data
• Operate specialized respiratory equipment (Servo I, Hamilton G5)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as RRT
• Adult & Pediatric Critical Care experience REQUIRED
• Experience in:
  • ER
  • Adult ICU
• First-time travelers: NOT accepted

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active State RRT License (in hand – no pending)
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• CRTT

Schedule & Policy

• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• On-Call: None
• Floating: No
• Block Scheduling: Not available
• Locals: Accepted (no mileage restriction)
• RTO: Must be submitted with profile
