Description
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technician to perform a variety of complex, specialized tasks using radiographic equipment for vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.
Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs high‑quality IR procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist for both adult and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include patient preparation, sterile technique, equipment setup and operation, documentation, radiation safety, and close collaboration with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
Assignment Length:
13 weeks
Schedule & Shift:
- Shift: Days (AM)
- Schedule: 4x10s (40 hours/week)
- Hours: 7:00am–5:30pm
- Days: Monday–Friday with a rotating day off
- On Call: Yes (rotating)
- Weekends: Yes (as needed)
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- ARRT‑R
- ARRT‑CI
- ARRT‑CV
- ARRT‑VI (preferred)
- MRT
- BLS – AHA
Top Skills & Experience:
- Interventional Radiology & Cath Lab experience (2+ years)
- Body (Trauma) and Neuro (Stroke) experience – Required
- Epic experience – Preferred
- Level I Trauma Center experience – Preferred
- Vascular/IR (VI) experience – Preferred
Important Call Requirement:
Candidate must live close enough to report and be case‑ready within 30 minutes.
