Description
Education & Certifications
- Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Must have one of the echo tech credentials:
- RDCS‑Adult OR
- CCI RCS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International)
- Certification must be valid and appropriate for echo/cardiac sonography.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in echo/cardiac sonography or related field.
- Pediatric echo experience is required (echo tech must be comfortable with pediatrics and pediatric call coverage).
- Hospital experience is required (not outpatient only).
Special Skills / Technical Requirements
- Experience with Epic EMR charting system preferred/required.
- Ability to perform standard and advanced echo procedures such as:
- 2‑D Echo
- Color Doppler
- Bubble Study

- Pediatric call experience (rotating weekdays and weekends).
- Must be able to work 1:1 patient ratios (one tech per patient).
Licensing
