Description

Position: RN PCU
Assignment Length: 8 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (nights: Fri–Sun; days: Sat–Sun)
Start: Weekly start dates (Mondays)

Submission Requirements:

Epic experience required
Must be able to titrate pressors (please highlight in candidate write-up)
IVS required to manager for approval

Testing:

Day-one pass/fail testing will be administered
Relias practice tests available in advance

Certifications:

BLS (AHA) required
ACLS (AHA) and NIHSS preferred

Clinical Expectations:

Patient ratios typically 1:3–5
Floating required to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units
Floating occurs in 4-hour blocks during shift (multiple floats are rare but possible)

Experience:

Level I Trauma experience preferred
If no prior travel experience, Level I Trauma required
