Title: Anesthesia Technician (Allied)
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Position Type: 13 Weeks (36 Hours Guaranteed)
Shift Options:
• Option 1: Weekend – Saturday & Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM + 1 variable weekday
• Option 2: Monday–Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 3x12s | AM Shift
• No On-Call
Job Description:
• Department/Unit: Anesthesiology (Main OR, IR, Cath Lab, Radiology)
• Experience Required:
- Minimum 12 months Anesthesia Tech experience
- Pediatric experience required
• Certifications Required:
- BLS (AHA)
• Preferred Certification: - ASATT (American Society of Anesthesia Technologists & Technicians)
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform anesthesia technical procedures and assist anesthesiologists during surgical cases
• Operate blood gas analyzer per manufacturer and lab guidelines
• Assist with invasive line setup and monitoring during procedures
• Perform room turnovers to ensure procedural efficiency
• Conduct daily preventative maintenance of anesthesia machines (filters, hoses, bellows, soda lime, etc.)
• Review patient and procedure requirements to ensure proper setup and supply readiness
• Restock, clean, and maintain anesthesia carts and machines
• Act as liaison between anesthesia providers and supply/materials teams
• Precept/orient staff and students as needed
