ICU RN – 12 Hour Days | 48 hrs/week

• Shift: 12 Hour Days
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hrs/week (Non-Negotiable)
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Unit Overview

• 39-bed ICU (MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU – mixed unit)
• All ICUs combined into one unit divided into pods
• Would not float to CVICU unless experienced in that specialty

Patient Population

Complex ICU patients including:

• Medical, Surgical, Cardiac (preferred), Neuro, Trauma
• Heavy trauma population

Cardiac experience preferred (not required):

• CABG / TAVR 24–48 hrs post-op
• Impella, IABP, CRRT strongly preferred

Required Certifications

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience (excluding travel) strongly preferred
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• TNCC (REQUIRED prior to arrival — decline if unwilling to obtain
• 1.5 years ICU (excluding travel) may be reviewed if significant RN background
• Minimum 1 prior travel assignment required (no first-time travelers)
• Must live 100+ miles from any Monument Health facility

Skills Required

• Epic experience (REQUIRED)
• Vasopressors, sedation, paralytics
• Hemodynamic monitoring & lines
• Ventilator management
• Proning
• Telemetry

Floating

• Not common unless overstaffed
