Job Title: Perioperative / PACU RN (Pre/Post Op RN)
Location: Kealakekua, HI 96750
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8 or 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (with after-hours call)
Guaranteed Hours: N/A

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Perioperative / PACU Registered Nurse (Pre/Post Op RN) to join our team for a 13-week contract assignment in beautiful Kealakekua. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in both preoperative and postoperative settings, ensuring safe and effective patient preparation, recovery, and discharge.

Responsibilities:

• Provide preoperative assessment and patient education
• Deliver postoperative monitoring and recovery care in PACU
• Monitor vital signs and manage pain control
• Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in after-hours call rotation as required

Requirements:

• Active Hawaii RN License
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required
