Charting System

• EPIC experience REQUIRED
• EPIC charting proficiency must be demonstrated

Unit Details

• ICU position (cross-posted under MedSurg – only 1 opening)
• Will consider Med/Tele/ICU skill sets
• 2+ years of solid ICU experience required
• Burn unit experience not required, but a plus
• Previous travel experience preferred

Patient Ratios

• 1:3 majority of the time
• 1:4 maximum (rare)
• 1:2 if ICU-level patient assignment

Compliance Requirements

• Fingerprint Requirement
  • Remote processing: allow 10 days
  • In-person: can complete at Jackson or Grenada campus the week prior to start
• Flu Vaccine REQUIRED (UMMC policy)
  • Deadline: November 15
  • Only medical exemptions allowed
  • Must provide documented proof of prior severe reaction from a healthcare provider
