(Notes Updated 2/3/25) *Please have housing! We have a lot of troubles with travelers not being able to find AFFORDABLE housing! Med Surg RN – Nights Start 2/24 13 weeks BLS, ACLS, NIH and PALS are required Shift Notes: 3-12’s, 7p-7a 36 hours At least 2 years’ experience $80 OLD NOTES: Unit Info: Manager Brittney DeFrates Updated 10/19/23 **Ok to submit travelers without having their ACLS & NIHSS, because traveler will get it during the Placement Process at no cost** **ACLS will be required for all Medsurg travelers** 1 yr min Med Surg Experience required unit also has 24 MS/tele beds. No acutely cardiac, mainly pacemakers, monitoring, potassium levels etc. Would be beneficial to have Tele experience, but not a requirement, basic tele a plus # Beds in the unit: 39 Patient Ratios: 1:6 Certs Required: BLS, ACLS and NIHSS **ACLS and NIHSS can be obtained during Placement process if need be*** Charting System: Meditech EXPERIENCE HIGHLY Preferred Medication System: McKesson Will they float to any other units: First to float to Medsurg units within traveler's scope of practice Scrub Colors and are they provided?: Royal blue, not provided Hospital may call off 1 Shift for every 4 weeks worked. (Rarely use)
