Description
Shift: 10H Days 0700-1730 4 days/week.
Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.will need to float for call to all 3 campuses (Immanuel, Lakeside and Mercy CB)**radiation badge provided by client The call team covers three campuses after hours and weekends. They would most likely be home (or at least off campus) when they receive emergent calls. Ideally, they would live centrally located between the three campuses. We do expect they are within the 30 min response time of their "home" campus and understand it may be slightly longer for the other campuses. As far as how often It varies. In the last 30 days or so there were 8 call backs for that team. It's possible to be on most of those or none of those cases depending on if you were on at that time. **Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.****Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contractDepartment: Cath Lab Tech/IR Tech*Certifications: RCIS, BLS, ACLS*Siemens- # of suites/labs: 3- #cases per day on average: 4-5- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Compression FX/ Venous Access/Hyrdronephrosis/Chest Pain/PHTN/SOB/Gastric Ulcer/PE/DVT- Job Duties: Intra-procedural circulating-supplies/medication administration/sedation- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Hospital-setting Cardiac Cath/IR more than 3 years- EMR/Equipment: EPIC/Apollo cardiac charting- Cardiologist hours/on call: 0700-1600 M-F ONCALL 1600-0700 S/S 0730-0730- Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift Does the charge nurse take an assignment: Yes, Supervisor- Cath Lab Techs: 3- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling Block scheduling): Supervisor approves schedule- Weeknight/Call Requirements: Minimum 10 shifts- Weekend/Call Requirements: Minimum 2 weekends (1 IR and 1 Cardiac)- Holiday/Call Requirements: Yes- What is call response time: 30 minutes from IMC, ASAP to LKS/MCB/Bergan- Floating Requirements: Yes, daily and oncall as needed- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Surgical greens- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 1 week / to include oncall buddy call- Additional Notes: Very versatile lab that primarily performs IR with Cardiac inpatient add-ons/ prepared for STEMIs- to treat up to IABP to stabilize. Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
