RN Educator – Family Birthplace (C-Section OR Circulation Focus)

🚨 THIS IS NOT A STRAIGHT L&D ROLE
We are seeking a highly experienced RN Educator to support and educate staff in the Family Birthplace unit with a strong focus on Operating Room circulation for C-Sections.

❌ Straight L&D RNs without strong OR C-Section circulation experience will NOT be considered.

🎯 Position Focus

• Educating OR staff in C-Section circulation
• Supporting perioperative workflow in L&D OR
• Ensuring best practices in sterile technique & surgical safety
• Mentoring bedside staff

✅ MUST HAVE (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

✔ VERY high proficiency circulating C-Sections
✔ Strong L&D + OR crossover experience
✔ Prior educator/preceptor experience preferred
✔ ACLS (in hand at submission)
✔ BLS (in hand at submission)
✔ NRP (in hand at submission)
✔ COVID vaccine (dose on/after 10/3/23) or approved exemption

⚠️ Certifications MUST be uploaded with profile. Facility will NOT pend upon offer.

⏰ Schedule

• 12hr Days
• 36 or 48 hrs guaranteed (note preference on profile)
• 8 hrs non-billable orientation

Holiday/OT Multiplier: 1.25%

🚨 VERY IMPORTANT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

🔹 At least TWO specific interview dates/times required (NO “anytime”)
🔹 Traveler must live 50+ miles from facility
🔹 Permanent address required at upload
🔹 Max 3 days RTO (must be declared at submission – no changes after)

• Has extensive hands-on C-Section OR circulation experience
• Can confidently teach and mentor OR/L&D staff
• Understands perioperative flow within Family Birthplace
