Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Orthopedic/Med-Surg/Telemetry
- Location: Cone Health
- Schedule: 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am)
- Shift Requirements: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday); no on-call required
- Floating: Required as needed to other units
- Charge RN: Must be able to work as Charge RN as needed (Charge RN experience required)
- Certifications: BLS required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience; previous travel RN experience required
- Unit Description:
- 29-bed unit serving adult and geriatric orthopedic and medical-surgical patients
- Telemetry monitoring available
- On-unit physical therapy gym
- Patient Population:
- High volume: Total joint replacements, fracture repairs, kyphoplasties
- Moderate volume: Other surgical procedures, medical inpatient and 24-hour observation patients
- Additional Requirements:
- Must pass a required EKG exam
- Must adhere to strict attendance policy (zero tolerance for tardiness/unexcused absences)
- Compliance steps must be completed by deadline (Wednesday, 12 Noon EST prior to start)
- Other:
- Must be flexible with scheduling
- Must be aware of all job and compliance requirements prior to offer
