Number of Beds: 20
Patient Ratio: 6:1

Tech support available on both day and night shifts
Unit Secretary available 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Scheduling Requirements

3 shifts per week (12 hours each)
Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule

Floating Policy

Contract staff are first to float
Floating follows rotation when multiple contract staff are scheduled

Patient Care Expectations

Provide attentive, compassionate, and patient-centered care
Perform bedside shift reports
Build personal connections with patients and family members
Actively involve patients and families in the plan of care

Comprehensive Stroke Center
ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center
Certified Chest Pain Center

Required Qualifications

Must Have

Active RN License
BLS Certification
ACLS Certification

Requested Skill Set

Med/Surg experience
Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
IV starts
Basic wound care
Management of surgical drains
Nasogastric tubes
Chest tubes

Advanced Skills

None required

Dress Code
