Scheduling Requirements

3 shifts per week (12 hours each)
Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule

Floating Policy

Contract staff are first to float
Rotation followed when multiple contract staff are scheduled

Patient Care Expectations

Provide attentive and compassionate patient- and family-centered care
Perform bedside shift reports
Establish personal connections with patients and families
Actively involve patients and families in the plan of care

Hospital Designations

Comprehensive Stroke Center
ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center
Certified Chest Pain Center

Required Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical experience

Licensure & Certifications

Active RN License
BLS Certification (Required)

Requested Skill Set

Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced environment
IV starts
Basic wound care
Management of surgical drains
Nasogastric tubes
