Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work at a facility in Raleigh, NC . These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $106 / hour
*1099

Shift Details:

• Full time PMHNP, 8-4:30pm, Mon-Fri. No call.

Primary activities

1. Monitor the inpatient psychiatric bed status. Make recommendations for bed movements based on clinical status. Update the chief of psychiatry and the leadership teams at both facilities.  This will include office-based and onsite work.
2. Office based review of admission requests for both inpatient facilities. Complete necessary documentation
3. Monitor the outpatient psychiatric population for high risk/SMI inmates that need a higher level of care. This will focus on inmate within 6 months of release from prison.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of PMHNP experience preferred.
• Inpatient experience preferred.
• Work in administrative roles, as PMHNP or otherwise, preferred.
• Experience with Excel preferred.
• Comfort with psychiatric patients that have co-occurring medical problems (acute/chronic) preferred.
