Description
Must have 2 years of experience and Pediatric specific sleep experience.
BLS and RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) required
Patients 3 months to 20 years old
Ok with first time traveler
Experience conducting EEG/sleep studies and quality control procedures
6 bed sleep lab, open 7 nights/ week
3 techs staffed if full
1 tech will not get 2 titration studies
If medically complex or behavioral kids will run as a 1:1
Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient/ studies
Common Diagnosis/Types of Patients: pediatrics- stable, but some medically complex patients. Perform: baseline sleep studies, Cpap and bipap, (and oxygen titration studies), but not Asked to do AVAPs or high flow studies. EEG/sleep studies and quality control procedures. Prefer experience with transcutaneous CO2 devices- not required. Do not have to score studies
