Unit Specifics:
· Number of Beds 13 main OR 2 CVOR
· Patient Ratios:1:1
· Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :1RN/1CST per room, turnover staff, 1 charge RN, 4:1 Anesthesia coverage. Inhouse night shift.
· Type of equipment: XI Robot, advanced spine, Mako joint robot,
· Documentation system:Meditech
· Scheduling requirements:CVOR: 8-10 call shifts (12hr Monday-Friday) 24hr Saturday & Sunday x 4 weeks. Main OR: 3 call shifts(12hr) evey 4 weeks. Days and nights available
· Floating policy:none required
· Patient Experience requirements:AIDET

· Certifications:Total Joint, Heart center, Level 2 trauma , Stroke, Cardiac Center recognition
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: Circulating RN in
General OR to include Ortho, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, and Trauma and Robotic obgyn and Urology cases
CVOR OR: Complex Thoracic to Include AAA, Valve replacement, and CABG. Complex open and Eno vascular cases to include bypass, Angio and Stents.
Must have:
General circulating knowledge to include positioning, prepping and facilitating cases mentioned in above surgical areas.
CVOR: Ability for positioning, prepping, endovascular equipment and facilitating complex open thoracic and vascular cases mentioned above.
Procedures performed on unit:
Main OR: Surgical procedures in the following areas: General, trauma, Ortho (trauma and elective joints/sports medicine) Urology, GYN, XI robotic utilization, plastics, Neuro(complex crani and spine services)
CVOR: Complex Thoracic to include AAA Repairs, Valve replacements and CABG. Complex open and Endovascular casees to include bypass, Angio and Stents.
Certifications Required: BLS, CST
Dress Code: (Required uniform)Scrubs hospital provided
