Job Title: RN – Labor & Delivery
Facility Name: Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center (Crisis Response)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Type: Travel Contract – 13 Weeks
Projected Start Date: 03/09/2026
Shift: Nights | 3x12 Hours (18:45–07:15)
Hours: 36 hrs/week
EMR: EPIC, PYXIS, SBAR
Pay Package:
• Weekly Gross: $2,350
• Stipend (Weekly): $1,477
• W2 (Weekly): $873
Certifications:
• Required: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (C-EFM accepted in lieu)
• Preferred: AWHONN Advanced
Patient Ratios:
• 1:2 typical L&D ratio
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery RN experience required (3 years preferred)
• Must have experience in high-volume facility (>300 births/month)
• First-time travelers accepted with strong similar experience
• Circulating C-section experience strongly preferred
Ratios / Unit Activity:
• ~20 births/day, 30–40 admits daily
Weekends:
• Every other weekend required (minimum 6 shifts per 6-week schedule)
Holidays:
• Per facility holiday schedule
Floating:
• Yes, may float within Women’s / High-Risk OB units as needed
Dress Code:
• Scrubs provided (blue)
